Our Story

Teachers Who Write became friends in 2009. Since then, both Keena and Shamfa have grown to be employed in the field of education. Along with their experiences as English and Special Education teachers, their recognition of themselves as young, black women in today's world has motivated them to embark on this journey. Here at Teachers Who Write, you will find the texts that we have compiled along with other information surrounding the connection between formal education and exposure to diversity in today's global world.
